The Hallow plot
"Nature has a dark side."
Due to economic pressures, Adam Hitchens, a London-based conservationist, has been forced to take a job as a surveyor in Ireland's forests. He hopes that moving to a rural mill will be a breath of fresh air for his wife Claire, their young son Finn and the dog Iggy. However, not everyone is happy with their arrival. A traditional farmer warns Adam to stop his experiments in the ancient sacred groves.
