"No one gets out alive"
House on the Hill is based on a true story about the much-discussed 1980 serial killer Leonard Lake, who kidnapped, robbed and killed people along with his accomplice Charles Ng. In this film, Sonia, the lone survivor of Lake's murders, teams up with a private detective to help locate a woman who went missing at the time of Lake's murders. In the process, Sonia recounts the horror of the house where Lake and his henchman allegedly forced her to videotape the serial murders. During the film, Sonia's story comes out about what she experienced in the house.
