"Tell me Norman… did you think it was going to be this tough to get rid of a pain in the a* like me? Ma'am, I had no idea."
Former rodeo champion Sonny Steele has been wooed by the advertising guys at a food multinational and now has to go for a ride every night in a carnival outfit with a box of 'Ranch Breakfast' in his hands. Sonny hates work and only the drink keeps him going. But when his client, the producer Ampco Corporation, wants to poison a $12 million purebred horse with sterile injections, the man revolts. He retreats with the faithful four-legged friend to the fertile lawns of Utah. But there he runs into an arriva television journalist who wants to put a lot of stick in the wheels, but eventually comes round and is willing to help him...
