Crime writer Dan Dark ends up in the hospital. Delirious, he tries to find out who he is and how he ended up in this terrible condition. When his condition becomes critical, he is handed over to eccentric psychologist Dr. Gibbons. At first, Dan doesn't want to talk about his painful past. However, he gradually becomes more open and his spirit comes out of hiding. But nothing is as it seems...
