The film is not a biography but reconstructs the palace of the 'mad king', where children were sexually abused, opponents were killed and greedy traffickers helped Gaddafi with the means to build nuclear weapons. From Brazil to Beirut, the Ukraine to Uganda, Christopher Olgiati seeks out many dubious businessmen who helped make Gaddafi's dream come true. Gaddafi was assassinated on October 20, 2011 in his native city of Sirte.
