The Forger plot

"Never too late for a final blow"

Ray Cutter (Travolta) is a petty thief who manages to "buy" his way out of prison so he can spend time with his ailing son (Sheridan). But Ray and his father (Plummer) have one last big job together to pay back the syndicate that funded his early release.

What a great movie with a wonderful cast.

Travolta playing convincingly and Sheridan playing refreshingly.

Plummer is also well cast. The three generations manage to find each other again in a strong crime film that is above all a convincing drama. Nice to see Travolta in a strong role again. *4.0

Picked this one up once and it wasn't that special. The film got off to a slow start at the beginning, but it eventually caught on. The film is much more drama than action.

The cast wasn't bad, but it didn't really stand out either.

Not bad in the end, but not really memorable either.
