Once in a while I put on a Depeche Mode.

And then I am wonderfully sucked into Gahan's wonderfully exaggerated rousing way of doing things. All hands in the air and wave em like you just don't care.

I also always have to laugh at the Michael Boogerd look-a-like Martin Gore.

This concert registration brought me back to 2009 Ahoy and Ziggo Dome 2013.

It is a beautiful concert recording, especially for the fans. Fine.

This documentary follows Depeche Mode during the last days of their Music for the Masses Tour of 1987 and 1988. We follow the band backstage and see performances of their considerable hit catalogue. The band also decided to make a bus available for a number of fans who can visit their latest concerts for free on the condition that a camera crew can record their doings and their conversations. And that is what makes this documentary documentary. Andrew Fletcher acknowledges that he is 'doing whatever' on stage and Alan Wilder and Martin Gore explain how they use their synthesizers.
