Vague movie. Not worthy of the word horror, it is more of an occult thriller about the rebirth of the devil . The entire first hour is difficult to get through, with several walks through houses that are particularly sleep-inducing. I thought the ending would end with a twist but no, it's just as unsatisfying as the rest.

Nice horror with an exciting beginning and a few scare moments. Furthermore, very concerned about atmosphere.

That atmosphere is dark and threatening. That's fine, but atmosphere and a nice starting point are of course not enough. The lack of sequel kills the film.

The actions following the premise are very repetitive in nature and that is a shame. If a film is very atmospheric and therefore less focused on effects, then as a viewer you want a little more story, a little more angle, a little more surprise. That wish will not be fulfilled.

The acting is good. The atmospheric camera work is excellent.

Just a little better than a mediocre horror movie.

Exciting with plenty of scary moments, and some really cool creepy shots.
The tension was built up and maintained 'okay', although at times it dragged on a bit too long.
They change main characters three times in the film ; first Hanna, then the real estate agent Leigh, and for the third act her sister.
There are a few minor ambiguities and storylines that are not fully developed or concluded, that I felt like; “They have to do something with this…”
I thought Ashley Rickards (Hanna) acted very well for a fairly small film like this; the rest might have been a little better.
The ending was indeed quite abrupt and not entirely satisfying.
I thought the last few shots with the very threatening and dark clouds were well done and nicely done and also because of the text that the girl says, they still give a limited answer to the otherwise completely open ending about how things can proceed.
At the same time, this also opens a door for more questions; because if the devil can only possess one person at a time, how is he going to take over the entire world?
And of course, why didn't she kill her “daughter” anyway? I think probably because the devil would then return to her body and make her pregnant again; so that she already realized on her own that there was no point in killing her.

This is a typical horror film that I would like to give at least a passing grade, so a 5.5.
But I think 2.5* is too little, so because of the several very cool shots of the devil and when the girls are taken over, At the Devil's Door gets a narrow 6/10 from me.
