Tammy plot
"She hit the road. The road hit back."
Tammy (McCarthy) comes home from work one day and finds her husband in bed with another woman. She wants to flee from her village as soon as possible, but is hindered when her car breaks down. Despite serious reservations, Tammy turns to her grandmother Pearl (Sarandon), a wicked and heavy drinking lady who doesn't always play by the rules.

Sometimes funny. But mostly not funny. The film just goes on and on. There isn't really a story in this movie. Melissa should stop now. Sarandon is miscast. She doesn't come across as a grandmother at all.

Well.
How you get it made is a mystery to me. Melissa McCarthy is truly a disaster, in just about everything she does. Seeing them at work often gives me vicarious shame. That busy and rude stuff of hers.. It wasn't even done right and if it is, after about 10 minutes it was okay. That Susan Sarandon, another sad affair, even as a grandmother, comes up with nothing at all. You get a dragging fluff story for free.

Not funny. Not copied. I often find dry or flat humor amusing, but after half an hour I laughed a bit for the first time, eventually turned it off. Get the idea that she thinks she's funny.
