"The gold or the grave. The young widow could lead them to either."
mrs. Lowe (Ann-Margret) is the attractive widow of a fallen train robber. She knows where her husband has hidden the loot (a gold treasure) from his latest heist. She asks Lane (John Wayne) and his comrades to help her get the gold. During their journey, however, they are chased by a large group of bandits who are also out for the loot.
