Iya Monogatari: Oku no Hito plot
A tunnel is soon to be built in Iya, Japan's last untouched area, and threatens to disrupt the natural order. An old man (Min Tanaka) and his granddaughter Haruna (Rina Takeda) live there and meet a young man from Tokyo (Shima Onishi). Their primitive and secluded lifestyle slowly heals the man's heart and brings out a certain emotion in him.
