Private investigator Hong Gil-dong vows revenge for his mother's murder when he was a child. An investigation determines that the culprit is a man named Kim, but arriving at his home, he finds Kim's grandchildren whose grandfather has been kidnapped. Hong can track down the cruel kidnapper, but suspects he isn't acting alone. The mastermind is the infamous leader of a cult - a man with a terrifying and bloody secret. Hong decides to confront the leader.
