"Let yourself glow."
The mysterious Irishman Finian and his daughter Sharon arrive in a southern US state, Missitucky. Finian has stolen a piece of gold from 'Ogg de Leprechaun' and believes the nugget will grow on American soil. Sharon falls in love with a farmer and finds everyone under pressure from racist Judge Rawkins.

Nice film about an Irish man who tries his luck in America with his daughter. A fairly fairy tale-like story in which racism is incorporated in a fairly ridiculous way. The film is too long, but there are more than enough beautiful singing and dancing scenes. Also beautifully portrayed.
