Vivace plot
Alex and Pauline Charpentier are madly in love and move to a village in the countryside near Angoulême. When they get to know their neighbors, the eccentric Gilles Vasseur, a retired forestry official, catches the eye. He presents the couple with a rare Brazilian plant. However, the peculiar crop grows hour after hour. Gradually, the life of the Charpentiers turns into a real nightmare...
