Seen at the Northern Film Festival. And fortunately! Wonderful musical feel-good film! Not very special, but super catchy and a beautiful representation of the times.

The story of Terri Hooley, the man who in the troubled Belfast of the 70s and 80s... actually encouraged young people to follow him in his love of music instead of getting caught up in political or religious views and violence.

However, the film itself attaches great importance to the violent struggles. The difficulties Hooley encountered were not uncommon and did not always lead to unqualified success.

The film is certainly not bad and the scenes with the punk groups have quite a bit of dynamics. Those who like the genre will probably rate this film a bit higher.

Real emotions are only released in the last part. A little disapointing.

I was familiar with Teenage Kicks by The Undertones with Feargal Sharkey, but otherwise this was unknown territory for me. Always nice to see those films that put things in a cultural-historical perspective.

This one is not very good, mainly because of the mediocre production value that British films sometimes have. Still, the film deserves the favor factor.
