Nena plot
It is the summer of 1989, the wall is trembling and Europe anxiously awaits what autumn will bring. When sixteen-year-old Nena is confronted with a suicide attempt by her disabled father, she is hurt to the bone by his death wish. At the same time, for the first time in her life, she falls deeply in love with Carlo, the pitcher of the baseball team. But while she discovers her own zest for life, Nena realizes that life is becoming increasingly hopeless for her father Martin.
