"THE TOAST OF GAY PAREE!"
On the eve of World War I, Suzy leaves her place in the variety show and tries to trade success for love. The man she finds is murdered, and she flees to Paris where the espionage complications continue.

Definitely worth seeing, although the beginning of the film does not seem to be heading in the direction of a spy story at all.
Actually, it never really becomes a spy film, but is more about romance and drama.
The film manages to combine the two genres reasonably well, although the drama part clearly has the upper hand.
