Mell Funn is an elderly director who has a good plan to make an old-fashioned movie theater. He thinks that with his idea to make a 'silent' film in this modern age, he has a huge hit and that he can save the almost bankrupt studio from destruction. Sure enough, it works, but it doesn't go smoothly. He has to overcome many obstacles to achieve the desired success.
