Conflict plot
"SUSPENSE...SUSPICION...MAN-WOMAN DESIRES!"
Successful engineer Richard Mason falls in love with Evelyn, his wife Katherine's younger sister. That leads to a crisis in his marriage, which prompts him to kill Katherine in cold blood. However, when his feelings for Evelyn are not reciprocated and he then apparently receives a letter from the dead Katherine and thinks he sees her on the street, he believes he is going mad.
