We also enjoyed this Turkish horror film in which bits of horror fly through, but for the most part it is a horror film. The distinction for us is that horror is often bloody, while horror films rely more on the paranormal. Examples of horror films include:

The Shining (1980) , Poltergeist (1982)[/ url] and [url=https://www.moviemeter.nl/film/88240]The Conjuring (2013).

At first we didn't expect much from this film, also of course influenced by the ratings, but we soon discovered that it was really good, at least for us.

There's a lot going on in this movie as far as horror scenes go, too much actually, but we appreciated it. The story also puts you on the wrong foot! The rascals .

If you like horror, don't skip this one, especially not based on the ratings of some film sites, take a look at IMDb, where the film almost gets a 7 and that is often a good signal!

Our rating is slightly higher, a 7+.

After three rather trivial parts, Turkish director Hasan Karacadag finally seems to make qualitative progress with this part. Nevertheless, it uses the same approach as the previous part (found footage), but this time the structure is a bit more catchy. The characters themselves seem to be more controlled, with Ali Murat Özgen in particular playing an intriguing and nuanced figure. It all makes for a slightly more well-thought-out impression, but towards the second half things go wrong again and Karacadag repeatedly delivers very poor horror moments. There is enough going on and the bombast reaches almost record volumes so as not to be boring, but the film does not become any more exciting. After a while, the logic behind why the characters are still holding a camera completely disappears, making it look shabby. Thanks to the first half, it is generally stronger than the previous parts, but still too poor as a horror film (and above all too long).
