Solid!

Unfortunately (as mentioned earlier) there is too little emphasis on the action and too much bad humor. It's funny every now and then, but the film simply doesn't cut it.

Nice roles, fantastic fights (end ) and all very well told anyway. Not much to be surprised by, but pure entertainment, I'd rather see JC more in the foreground than have him share it, but hey, you can't do anything about it!

Entertaining, nothing more, nothing less.

Moderate Hung.

As a director, Hung is not that much, but Chan is a much better director. Especially when it comes to this kind of work. The humor is now very stale and that "exotic" Spain also hinders more than it adds to the film.

I thought the three gentlemen's acting here was very mediocre. Maybe just because the jokes weren't that funny and I've seen all three of them fight more spectacularly. The action scenes were okay, but clearly secondary. Even the final battle was mediocre, if you compare it to what Chan pulls out of his hat in his own films.

The film drags a bit, especially in the middle part. Types like Forner really offer no added value and everything else looks quite dull and cheap. Oh no, the three can do these kinds of videos better.

It is a typical 80's film genre Bud Spencer & Terence Hill or Chuck Norris. But with Chan's well-known humor and stunts. This time in the hands of Sammo Hung, who seems to be in it more for humor than Chan. The film is not bad, but the humor is sometimes a bit stale. Fortunately, there is still the necessary action, although sometimes we have to wait a bit for it.

A well-known face, by the way, is Lola Forner, Miss Spain in 1979, who, after winning her crown, did not just do anything in the media but started acting. And then 3 times in a film with Jackie Chan! She does it well for the role she has to play here. Although she will never win an Oscar.

The action scenes are also good, but we have been spoiled with better films from Jackie Chan. The stunt work isn't the greatest of his career, but the fights are tight. But as mentioned, sometimes you have to wait a little too long for that. A light-hearted action film that fans will certainly enjoy. The makers are attuned to each other, but this is far from their showpiece.
