Life's a Breeze plot
"One man's trash is a mother's treasure"
Thirteen-year-old Emma (Kelly Thornton) from Dublin isn't too enthusiastic about her job. She has to visit her grandmother Nan (Fionnula Flanagan) every day. The latter is almost eighty, very independent and is described by her descendants as a quarrelsome old woman. Things are going badly in Ireland, which is in an economic downturn. Tensions are gradually creeping into Emma's family, too, because her thirty-year-old uncle Colm still lives with Nan and has the unpleasant habit of lending money to Emma's mother.
