One day, Kurapika runs into his old friend Pyro. It's not an innocent reunion, because Pyro steals Kurapika's eyes with a magical power. Gon, Killua and Leorio try to get Kurapika's eyes back, but at the same time, Killua also has his own problems. Killua has been indoctrinated all his life by his brother, who has convinced him that friendship is not possible within their profession. This makes Killua doubt the authenticity of his friendship with Gon.
