Maria di Nazaret plot

The Life Story of Mary (Alissa Jung), the Virgin and Mother of Jesus. Growing up in the Temple of Jerusalem, she falls in love with the young carpenter Joseph (Luca Marinelli). She eventually becomes the prophet's mother. Her happiness is short-lived, because the Jewish king Herod (Andrea Giordana) wants to have all the children in Bethlehem killed. Joseph and Mary flee to Egypt.
