Carolina Blues plot

"6 SWELL NEW SONG HITS!"

Band leader Kay Kyser would like to take a vacation, but his agent Charlotte makes an appointment to perform for the workers of an arms factory. A problem arises when one of his singers resigns. The factory owner comes up with the solution; his daughter Julie can also sing. Kay is against the idea of including the girl in his band.
