La Storia di una Donna plot

In flashbacks, the life of a young orphan girl named Beatrice is told. She goes to work as a lady-in-waiting for a countess, but is seduced by the son. The Countess finds out and sends her away - neither of them then know that Beatrice has become pregnant. A criminal takes her off the street and from that moment on she is out for revenge.
