Kaputt - De Gekantelde Wereld van Curzio Malaparte plot

Documentary by Hans Keller and Hein Aalders about the Italian writer Curzio Malaparte. The originally German writer served as a soldier in the Garibaldi Legion during the First World War and later became an active member of Mussolini's fascist party. In the 1930s he was exiled to the island of Lipari and later to the Tuscan seaside resort of Forte dei Marmi, due to the publication of his book 'The Technique of the Coup'.
