A monumental film. I hadn't seen this one before, but life in this care center is so relatable. Not long ago, I had the privilege (and unfortunately also the necessity) of experiencing this with a family member, hence my conclusion that this was very well researched for this film. Aart and Bram have since passed away, which is why I call this a monument. Besides drama, the title comedy could certainly be added here, as there is plenty of humor. Those scenes in the swimming pool alone were truly hilarious. It's a shame that the ending was a little less cheerful for Marius. A very good cast, and Georgina remains an absolute star. A Dutch film to enjoy!

Very nice film starring Aart Staartjes as a spokesperson in a nursing home, among others.
somewhat in the style of the much later television series 'The Diary of Hendrik Groen'
who is also rebelling due to the poor care in the nursing home.
with a very well-playing Georgina Verbaan as well.
The fellow residents are also almost all very well-known older actors, who play their roles very well.
In other words, if you enjoy a laugh and a tear, this TV movie is highly recommended.

Nice movie. Comic and tragic.
Tragic, especially when we looked up the actors and actresses to see if she was still alive?
Well, almost all of the elderly have passed away. How sad.
But they certainly had a lot of fun here, you can just see and feel that.
Georgina Verbaan is always fun to watch.
Sometimes a bit corny, but generally very entertaining.
