In this adaptation of "Groundhog Day," a woman is involuntarily sent on a blind date with an attractive man. She will reappear twelve times every day, so she has to go on the same date twelve times. Nice feel-good romantic Christmas film. No typical overacting like you see in TV Christmas movies. There was also a certain chemistry between the main actors and I have to say that Amy Smart comes across as genuine and fun. Added value to this film. The film's approach was also fun: the time loop. Was not delivered 'cheaply'. Nice Christmas atmosphere, which is what I'm all about right now.

As indicated, this Christmas film was clearly inspired by Groundhog Day. Even the character Kate's clock has the same style as Phil's from this classic.
Nothing beats the original Groundhog Day with Bill Murray. This Christmas edition definitely fails to reach that level. On the other hand, this very sweet Christmas film contains some entertaining moments, but the concept is of course far from original.
