Adult World plot
"When life gets hard, rise to the occasion."
Amy Anderson just graduated in poetry. Convinced that she is the next star in the literary world, she moves in with her parents to write poetry and find her place in the world. But after a pile of rejections, unpaid student loans and no money, she decides to look for a job in the real world. The only place she's hired is an adult bookstore called Adult World. Here she meets manager Manny and his transvestite friend Rubia. When she starts stalking him after a lecture by her favorite poet Rat Billings, Rat agrees to help her get her work published.
