"A story of faith and freedom."
Tom Revere's new wife brings Christian, his first son, into the world while the young hero earns war medals. However, Tom Revere dies, and this changes everyone's life forever. Fourteen years later, the young baby has grown into a teenager who returns with his mother Carrie to the small town of Mount Columbus, nestled in the Rocky Mountains, to spend the holiday season with his family. Christian tries to renew contact with his grandfather Bob. He is still having a hard time with the loss of his son.
