Just a dime a dozen teen romantic comedy with a bland story including bland humor. The film still looks pretty good because of Aubrey Plaza who played nice and didn't look bad either. If the film hadn't been so prudish, I might have given the film another half, but now I don't get more than 2 points.

Their ages!

That was the funniest part of the movie. They all had to be 16/17 year olds. But they were all nearly 30 Unfortunately, that's where the problem lies. This turned out to have been done on purpose, but it still lacked that moronic step of humor a la Rob Schneider/Adam Sandler films to make it feel a bit more. That shit looked like it. But all not enough. Despite some sexual terms and some fingering under the pants, everyone remained very safe.

Cast was nice, Plaza has something (Although she doesn't seem to be able to do much more than her Park & Rec. role) Despite not daring to go far, it does have a funny atmosphere.

2.5 stars.

Quite nice,,,

Bit of a feminine counterpart to American pie.

Although he is a bit less prudish, although the use of language goes just as far here.

The 90's setting was and always is fun, in my view when it's done nicely.

But I was glad the movie was finished, won't watch it a second time.

Audrey Plaza is the right fit for this role...not super sexy but she's got something.
