Escape plot
"You Can't Run From God."
The couple Paul and Kim Jordan, both doctors, need a drastic change. Distraught over the unexplained death of their baby, Paul convinces Kim to abandon their American way of life and join him on a medical mission in Thailand. This seems to be the distraction they need until Paul is kidnapped by traffickers. Now alone in a foreign land, Kim desperately tries to find her husband with no evidence of what happened...

The film doesn't offer enough to entertain the viewer for an hour and a half. The story itself has an interesting premise, but it's developed too monotonously. Furthermore, the cast doesn't really elevate the film. There's little tension and the drama is unconvincing. The beautiful locations in Thailand are a plus, but that alone can't save the film. 4/10
