Delavine Affair plot

Rex Banner is the proprietor of a news agency. In order to make a good story, he becomes an amateur detective to find out who killed his friend Gospel Joe and who was also responsible for the theft of Delavine's diamonds. Joe apparently had information about the theft and had asked Rex to speak to him, but just when Rex finds his friend's body, the police show up and he is initially a suspect.
