Once a thief, always a thief? Yes and no. Yes, if you take into account the fact that Michael Laynard is a retired jewel thief who is stealing again. Laynard, aka 'The Lone Wolf', does this because he is challenged by the beautiful Marcia. He is therefore more interested in the girl than in the loot.
