Franz Schubert plot
A biographical film about the great Austrian composer Franz Schubert (Heinrich Schweiger) who lived from 1797 to 1828. During his lifetime he found no recognition and only achieved a success with a performance of one of his compositions just before his death - he was 31 at the time. He died a year after Ludwig van Beethoven, whom he admired. His whole life was one great torment: illness, poverty and also bad luck in love. Theres (Aglaja Schmid), who also loved him, was expressly forbidden to marry this pauper.

What do I see, no votes for Franz Schubert yet?
Well, the Ave Maria is not completely synchronized and is a bit long-winded and kitsch, but the music is beautiful. Beautiful how Franzl conducts to the last final chord at the end.
