Maggie Smith had one in Umbria, why not Diana Lane in Tuscany?
Fortunately, because a charming romantic film was woven around this house.
The Cupid darts are flying around, but there is also attention for the sadness after a divorce and the resulting loneliness, but beautiful Diane realizes that a house is only a construction because of the people who live in it and that it is up to these people to to be content with what life can offer.
Smoothly told, smooth and simple dialogues, smoothly interpreted.
Not a high flyer, but quite successful.

Under the Tuscan Sun
Diane Lane, beautiful Tuscany, lots of good food and wine... It could be worse. The plot is sometimes too sentimental and my teeth almost hurt from all the sweetness (just the dialogues of that Polish boy...), but it's all pleasant. Light as a feather and without much depth, but pleasant.
