"THE PEAK OF SWING PLAYED BY THE RHYTHM KING!"
Songwriter Jill Wright moves from the Midwestern United States to New York. Jill is shocked to learn that Rick Farrell, the owner of Miracle Publishing Co., is claiming a song she sent to his company. She confronts the smooth talker and 'ladies man' and he convinces her to write songs for him which he then claims so that she can become familiar with the business. Unbeknownst to Rick, however, Jill plans to arrange copyrights for the songs she has written.
