Rebellious 16-year-old Deedee runs away from home and knocks on the door of her older half-brother Bill. After a difficult time, due to the death of his great love, his life is back in order. He lives with his new friend Matt and has a nice net worth; an inheritance from his deceased friend. Bill is a little too nice for this world and that's why Deedee has come to the right place. With her manipulative and provocative behavior she knows how to completely turn Bill's quiet life upside down. Deedee, pregnant and well, runs off with Bill's lover, a lot of money and the ashes of his deceased friend...

Disappointing, messy film that tries in vain to be funny. A snappy Lisa Kudrow tries to make something out of it, but the rest of the cast doesn't make much of it. Christina Ricci's annoying voice-over doesn't help either.

Good film in which a pregnant 16-year-old girl runs away from home and moves in with her older, gay brother. An entertaining film in which enough happens and with reasonably sharp dialogues. Good acting, and even though Christina Ricci doesn't have the lead role, she's the centerpiece of the film. A nice unsympathetic character with a cynical and satirical voice-over.
