Somebody Loves Me plot
San Francisco, 1906. Young actress Blossom Seeley struggles to impress her mostly inebriated audience. A performance of hers is interrupted by an earthquake and during those hectic moments she receives a ticket from the famous Broadway producer 'Pop' Grauman. When the city's residents recover from the earthquake's impact, Blossom becomes a regular on Grauman's shows. The star of one of the shows is the haughty Nola Beech. She claims one of Blossom's numbers. Blossom's protests are to no avail and Nola is given the number. Blossom's friend Essie makes a hilarious attempt to kill Nola's number.
