The Boys of St. Vincent plot
In the St. Vincent orphanage, boys are abused and mistreated by their guardians. Their plight only comes to light when the janitor and a local police officer speak out against the brothers' disgusting way of treating the orphans. During the ensuing investigation, the boys are brave enough to testify against the brothers. But fearing a scandal, the church and the congregation decide to cover up the matter and transfer the relevant clergy.
