La Confession plot
A small provincial town in southwestern France during the spring of 1945. Curfew, identity checks and ration coupons. The population is groaning under the last months of the German occupation. Barny, 25, is a young communist who has joined a network of resistance fighters. She is without news of her husband, a prisoner of war since the beginning of the conflict. She has placed her eight-year-old daughter in the countryside with two aunts.
