De Groeten van Mike! plot
Mike has been in the hospital for months and desperately wants to go home. But when he is finally better, his mother does not come to pick him up. A nurse then calls in youth care out of concern so that Mike is placed in a foster family. Ridiculous, Mike thinks. He also knows that his mother sometimes drinks a bit too much, but he can also take care of himself, right? Together with his roommate Vincent, who is in a wheelchair, he devises all kinds of ways to thwart the plans of Youth Care. But the day before Christmas, Mike has to go to a youth institution. Will he be able to celebrate Christmas at home with his mother?
