Indie Game: The Movie plot
"Making fun and games is anything but fun and games."
The 21st century brought with it a new type of independent but struggling artists: those of 'indie' game designers. Refusing to slog for the big developers, they invent, design and program their quirky games in hopes of achieving their own success. After three years of hard work, designer Edmund McMillen and programmer Tommy Refenes await the release of their first game for Xbox: 'Super Meat Boy'. At PAX, a major computer game event, designer Phil Fish shows off his long-anticipated 'Fez', which had been four years in the making. Meanwhile, Jonathan Blow is thinking about starting a new game after the huge success of his 'Braid', one of the most acclaimed games of all time.
