Very nice documentary!
Beforehand I thought it would be a documentary that would focus purely on the game Donkey Kong, but in the end this documentary was more about the battle between Billy Mitchell (+supporters) and Steve Wiebe than about the game itself. In the beginning I thought the documentary was a bit messy and I couldn't really keep up with everything, but later in the documentary that changed.

It's very nice to see how Billy Mitchell + supporters do everything to make it as difficult as possible for Steve Wiebe. They're playing a dirty game, for example distracting Steve Wiebe, increasing the pressure ("If anybody wants to see, there's a Donkey Kong kill screen coming up!" ) or even start looking for reasons to disapprove of his records.
This is all quite comically portrayed, but after a while I could get angry about it because I started to feel very sorry for Steve Wiebe who just does his best to be on a fair way to break the high score.

It is a documentary in which humor and drama go together, which is brought by two great main characters! Unfortunately, I read here and there that the documentary partly deviates from reality, so that I have taken half a star off. But even then, this documentary still has a 3.5* rating!

By the way, what do you think of the videotape that Mitchell sent when Steve Wiebe broke his record? Was this one fake or did he actually make the million? At first I thought it was fake, since noise kept coming through as they already told in the documentary. But since they don't come back to this later in the documentary, I suspect that there is no noise on the original tape and it was therefore just real.

That documentary makers script and manipulate things to make it a bit juicier, go ahead, but if that happens a little too flashy, the fun will of course be lost. In part then, because you have to do with poor Wiebe and his mission for recognition. He must also be a nice guy, just like his nemesis is an insufferable jellyfish. A special world, although Gordon only allows us a superficial look and he does not do much more than just make a sports drama in Donkey Kong atmospheres. A bit flat entertainment and a bit too transparent, although it is not an unpleasant sitting with this playing time.
