Shannon has the captivating, characteristically brutal (rotten) head that is necessary for the role of this cool Polish frog, but the script bursting with clichés and otherwise dry (audio)visual style and decoration, make it more dusty than dark. Attempts to force a kind of shock effect with his (ice cold) executions and other violence, but it is not nearly enough to make you forget the somewhat corny character of this Mafia drama.
