Der Hauptmann von Köpenick plot
A poor shoemaker cannot get papers after his release from prison. He finds nothing better than to put on a military uniform and help himself with what he needs. At the town hall of Köpenick he upsets everything and finally makes fun of the entire civil and military government with the many cures he takes.
