After three uninterrupted years at sea, sailor Ragab (Omar Sharif) returns to the port of Alexandria. After learning that the son of his shipping company boss has a secret relationship with his niece, his heart boils with rage. He seizes his chance to intervene when that same son is accused of murdering a rebellious worker.
