Love Leads the Way: A True Story plot

When an insurance agent goes blind in a boxing accident, his world is turned upside down. He struggles to function in his blind world and everything seems hopeless. Then he hears about an innovative European project that trains guide dogs for the blind. He is eventually assigned a guide dog, but he soon discovers that he and his companion are being refused entry on public transport and public buildings and businesses.
