Poor poor….

A horror film with a narrow pass on Moviemeter, so I certainly shouldn't have high expectations. But My little eye certainly seemed worth the effort, because the Big Brother concept can always fascinate me.

Fortunately, the film does not start with a lengthy introduction outside the house, but the actors are immediately dropped into the house. Well, that was the first thing I thought, because the film has nothing to do for the first half hour. There is hardly any tension created and the house does not appear scary at all. I wondered how the hell the movie could get exciting if some psychopath didn't barge in soon.

Anyway, the first part of the movie is the hardest to get through, but even when you think the movie is starting to get going, it never gets exciting. The packages with bricks and a revolver, the bloodied hammer in the bed and the text written on the mirror are not very original and bland. To make matters worse, the whole plot soon becomes clear when Travis comes into the house. Then it became clear that it was not an ordinary big brother game that can be followed by every internet user, but a murder game that is organized by a small group. The subsequent kills were also very poor. A guy being hanged and a woman being suffocated with a plastic bag, it could have been a lot more sinister for me. And the ending where it turns out that the police officer is also in the conspiracy and ends up killing the killer of the house himself, is very predictable and cliché.

The only one who gives this film any added value is Kris Lemche. He was also the only one I thought I recognized and apparently he also played in Final Destination 1 and 3. Not that he is a world actor, but compared to the rest he can win an Oscar for my part.

1.5*

Nice idea, but poorly executed. Unlike my predecessor, I liked the lead-up better than the ending. This twist is so much chewed out. Actors are mediocre, there is hardly any use of color (looks like an 80s movie!), and clichés are not shunned at all.

The first hour is nice, partly because of the mystical atmosphere. Towards the end it actually gets too bland, despite some nice kills.

2*.

A nasty film because as a viewer you feel the presence of the nameless company constantly.

The sadistic nature of man is emphasized here. Couple of nice kills and visually quite nicely worked out with special camera angles and night vision. Such a horror film. 6.5/10
